Stunning image of spiral galaxy NGC 6070, 100 million light-years away in the constellation Serpens. This image marks the "First Light" for the new Sloan Digital Sky Survey telescope at Apache Point Observatory, which will map a quarter of the sky over five years, creating a detailed 3D view of the universe.
