A disagreement that I frequently find myself having is that I believe the dozens of political advocacy NGOs to which thousand of people have dedicated their careers and in which donors have invested hundreds of millions of dollars are in fact making a big difference and aren’t just smol beans.

A lot of what NGOs and nonprofits do makes more sense when you understand yourself as not being trans enough, per the definitions used in practice instead of the ones used in public relations.
