In mentioning Fed Govt procurement, I believe most States now use the Fed Govt SAP system/processes too. The NGV isn't issuing a purchase order from MYOB. Well, AFAIK. 😀

It's one thing to issue fake invoices. But someone then has to sign off on the goods having been received in order to trigger payment; against a purchase order that also had to be faked... And then no-one questions why an organisation the size of the NGV is buying 4-5,000 phones.

Me and Mrs NORMAL have just returned from a week in Melbourne, what a FANTASTIC city

Highlight was definitely the NGV, an absolute must see (both of them)

We went to the Cartier exhibition today at the NGV. It was very crowded and dark, so hard to see or read info. Lucky for me the tiara room was less busy. Able to photograph a few beauties.

I wondered if that was just a preserved facade, there seem to be quite a few of those. Yesterday I tried unsuccessfully to find the 'Collins Street, 5pm' building in the 1955 painting by Brack at the NGV. Ironically the faded sign in the painting is 'Bank of New South Wales'.

Cartier at $70 a pop was going off, very impressed with the NGV and Ian Potter galleries, getting to SAM was a challenge on public transport...it's a great city
