A wonderful day advocating for the humanities on the hill. Despite everything going on, energized by the amazing staffers we visited and grateful for the opportunity to speak about the incredible value of @nehgov.bsky.social, Title VI funding, and NARA/NHPRC. @humanitiesall.bsky.social

Happy birthday to the National Archives and the NHPRC, created on this day in 1934. Our project, and projects like ours, would not exist without the NHPRC's financial support.

I have done so much work that has been funded by NHPRC grants. This work helps save local history collections that tell the stories of rural and indigenous communities. Without the NHPRC continuing its granting programs, these stories are in danger of being lost and they matter.

Unless someone else knows OmekaS magic, there is no pretty way to list a bibliography of over 60 amazing, highly relevant sources on an Omeka page except as a...list.

However, OmekaS does make a pretty word cloud.

Black Joy & Resilience, coming soon! With thanks to #NHPRC for $$!

Founders Online is a truly remarkable resource and ought to be celebrated-- for the documentary editing that made the work of these "founders" available and to the NARA and NHPRC and other funders who created this access. There is no reason to gin up their words -- it's *right there.* 4/
