Privatisation has been creeping into the NHS for decades(as a life long NHS professional who has witnessed this gradual change) The effect is less money for frontline services and the patients(and staff) will always suffer.

Sadly private health care has been creeping into the NHS for decades.(and I worked in the NHS for many years) Lots of "contract " NHS work is taken by private providers,then charged at high cost to the NHS! We need to save what's left of this essential institution ! #NHSSOS 💙

So sorry for your loss Dr Rachel. My late mother also died from metastatic cancer,many years ago, but she had great care from the NHS and the family,but it still hurts to this day. #NHSSOS 💙
