#NHemisphere had its longest day #20June: #SummerSolstice. We'll lose 1 minute of daylight daily until we hit September’s #AutumnalEquinox. The loss continues until December’s shortest day: #WinterSolstice. On that day, we'll gain one minute of sunshine until we reach the #VernalEquinox in March!☀️🌞

#Rose from #mygarden to welcome the spring equinox which occurs at 5:01am, 20 March, marking what is officially 1stday of spring. This is the vernal or spring equinox in the NHemisphere, the point in the year when day/night are thesame length. #RoseWednesday #FeastofStJoseph #gardening #bloomscrolling

For low geography: The NHemisphere is tilting more and more towards the sun ☀️, this period is called the solstice, which will reach its peak at the end of June.
The most influential religion in the West took advantage of this pagan festive date, and many others, to reinforce its overall influence.
