My #AdventOfCode day 4 solution in #rstats is in the alt text of this flower photo I took.
If you have done a few years of this you are used to putting things in a matrix and checking the surroundings. I did suspect part 2 was going to be shuffling things around, but not yet.

I'm surprised it used to work actually. Afaict most Nintendo controllers nowadays seem to work off some proprietary system rather than XInput or DInput.

Colloquially, I've taken to calling it NInput.

(On a side note there are advantages and disadvantages to XInput and DInput though)
