Use this phenotype AKI in the norepinephrine v vasopressin trial

differential response to therapy based on phenotype.

Also seen in CLOVERS trial of fluid management strategies, again differential response to intervention.

Subphenotyping has been successful in ARDS. They divided it into hypo- and hyper-inflammatory phenotypes.

These phenotypes respond to therapy differently.
