A wildfire has started in the bosque in Valencia County in the area of Highway 304 and Lagrima Rd. The fire is 35 acres and growing, but no structures are threatened. Crews are working to put it out now. #NMFire #NMFire

Good news on the Whiskey Fire after Monday night’s rain. Around 0.75” fell on the fire, significantly reducing activity and helping crews reach 11% containment.

The fire is 380 acres, with mainly isolated smoldering.
