i'm still more of an affinity v2 gal but i did mangle this equation for something similar

procedural texture on only the alpha channel:
sign(A) * round(noisei(x,y)/2 + A / 2)

Know what noiseI miss? The old RX-8 Grand Am cars would come through the bus stop and shift on the exit and it always felt like the most sports carsy noise to me. Loved to sit back there during the 24 in the years I’d tag along with some broadcast friends
