☠️💥 In the Siversk direction, Apache operators destroyed two NRCs, two tanks, several motorcycles, antennas and an enemy shelter.

And here I thought this header on the NRCS homepage was totally unhinged 🫠

We are actively scaling NRCs at the front and increasing purchases from the state. In the first half of 2026, we are contracting 25,000 NRCs, which are gradually arriving at the front. This is twice as much as in the entire year 2025.

USDA NRCS has begun terminating contractors working in Compliance. 🥺
IL NRCS has just let go of all of their contractors - ~14 across the state. These contractors assisted with archiving FSA documents, assisting with admin related to highly erodible ones and wetland compliance.
This comes after several Biologists/other staff were unlawfully terminated.

Reform NRCS* wetlands and erodible land compliance and appeals. Problematic NRCS overreach could be avoided entirely by removing its authority to prescribe specific practices on a particular farm operation

🇺🇦 To counter FPV drones, Ukraine has introduced a remotely controlled combat module with AI "Khyzhak"

Destroys dynamic targets thanks to AI capture, tracking and preemptive fire. Integrates into NRCs, pickups, boats, helicopters and works as part of a single air defense network.

🇺🇦😎 The third assault carried out Operation Samurai using ground-based kamikaze robots

The invaders tried to destroy three NRCs using FPV drones, drop bombs and artillery. Despite massive fire, two robots were able to maneuver and deliver explosives to the target.

Most of the questions were absolutely practical - regarding real combat needs, delays in provision, unresolved issues in procurement, the necessary additional funding and supply contracts: drones of all types and NRCs, long-range artillery shells.

We discussed with the soldiers the operational situation in the defense zone and ways to strengthen our positions: additional funding for combat battalions, support, drones of various types - UAVs and NRCs.

🇺🇦There was a unique parade in Kyiv on Independence Day today:
NRCs (ground robotic complexes) and naval drones rode along Khreshchatyk and Independence Square, and aerial drones flew above them.

I recently retired from the USDA-NRCS after 20 years of service. Most people don’t realize the amount of dedication most of us have. I don’t think most people understand how much the quality of their lives depend on federal servants.

My NRCS friends worry about a 12.99 breakfast buffet charge and won’t let anyone not with NRCS ride in their govt car, but this guy… The Pentagon needs to pass an audit before they get another dime!

Years back I seeded a five acre upland prairie that we restored in collaboration with NRCS.

Brought the camera up to capture what's blooming currently.

Look at this stunner! There's a lot of them! 🌱

Passed by the little North Fork of the Coeur d'Alene River on my way to a snow survey with the NRCS yesterday. The north woods are still a bit sleepy as they come out of winter.

I used to be under contract with the NRCS (fuckin elon) so I love the USDA and all their neat little subdivisions that do cool science.
