NSpower would never give rebates because they need to repair the grid. Beautiful morning here in Nova Scotia and there are 8 power outages. Two have been accounted for but 6 are under investigation. The 2 in the Valley aren't expecting power to be restored until Sunday!!

Driving to work in my new EV I was feeling kinda holier then thou with my lack of emissions but then I remembered if I am charging from a polluting grid the emissions are just elsewhere. So I looked up the % of renewables locally. This makes me 47.7% holier than thou. Get your shit together nspower.

Meanwhile in the rest of NS NSPower adopted a “net zero” policy on solar meaning that a household can only install enough panels to offset their own power usage. … no surplus!! We put in our panels before they made the switch and NSP pays us for our surplus power. I get that NSP…/
