For You will be down for ~1-2 hours as I replace the system drive.
The Kingston NV2 drive has been freezing up the computer - often for a minute at a time and sometimes indefinitely until a manual restart.
I'm replacing it with a Samsung 990 Pro, which should be more stable.

For You was down for 3 hours 40 minutes.
The cause: the system SSD (Kingston NV2, SM2267XT) controller hanged and never restarted.
It has been hanging periodically but always recovering in less than a minute. But this time it hasn't recovered.
It looks like I will need to replace the system drive

It's funny that NV2 is often easier to get than NV1 since the need for the latter comes from over classification of routine tasks etc and the jobs that need the former are urgent so they give out waivers right after application so people can work

Before all stock vanishes or prices skyrocket (whichever comes first), I do feel I need to get a spare 500GB NVMe SSD for when this Kingston NV2 eventually dies.

So unimportant was Nvidia's relationship to Sega that the NV2 never even happened. And that was allegedly going to be one of the proposed Dreamcast GPUs from the Sega of America proposed prototype for the Dreamcast that Sega HQ was never gonna approve.

New Obsidian Fallout game is being made by a very different Obsidian that made the old New Vegas so I think anyone thinking we’re getting a NV2 is kinda stupid.
