If you watch, I pan slightly to the right and there's clear sky and a star! I've heard this storm is dropping hail & am keeping 🤞🏼 that it doesn't hit here.

957AM: A severe storm near Bend is moving east around 35 mph toward Lampasas, then Copperas Cove. Main concern is 60 mph wind gusts and flooding rainfall, which could damage trees, siding, and weaker structures.

Impacted areas include Lampasas, Lometa, Nix, Izoro, Adamsville, and Copperas Cove.

Wildly windy, and the lightning has increased after I took this, but I was being painfully pelted with rain, so I came back inside. I can't imagine the buffeting that plane is getting; hope the pilot has lots of experience.

There's a big storm happening off to the west of us. Apparently it's pretty vicious, with huge hail, high speed wind, and rain.

I can smell the rain, but I think we won't get any of it here in #NWAustin tonight.
