Harrison Browne is fucking awesome. It’s exciting that he’s in the show playing one of Ilya’s teammates. But the NWHL & women’s hockey generally are inclusive of lesbian and bisexual players & supportive of Browne after he came out as a trans man. That is not something you can extrapolate to the NHL

As someone who still owns an NWHL Pride shirt, I get this sentiment.
The NWHL/PHF didn’t have the resources to jump on the moment in 2018 and 2022. So it was up to the diehard fans to share and hope other people could find the league.
Now, on more stable ground, we can see BIG growth.
