AviationNews – The United States Department of Transportation has granted Fiji Airways expanded operational rights, providing the South Pacific flag carrier with enhanced flexibility across transpacific passenger and cargo corridors. The regulatory clearance strengthens the airline's long-haul network and boosts air links connecting North America, the Pacific Islands, Australia, and New Zealand. The provisional regulatory approval authorizes Fiji Airways to operate scheduled and charter services for passengers, cargo, and mail between points beyond Fiji, through its island hub, and continuing to destinations in the United States and beyond.
