When we went to Japan in January, I took over 30 rolls of 35mm film to shoot, and finally today, I’ve got all of them developed.

Here’s one of my favorites.. I feel like analog is the perfect medium to capture the magic of Nanzoin-Mae Station.

Big lily pads floating in water at Kobe Animal Kingdom. This place used to be a botanical garden before becoming a zoo ten years ago. Vending machines lighting our way during a hailstorm in Fukuoka. Big hailstones loudly bounced off the machines. We had to take shelter under roofing at times to avoid the worst of it; this was snapped during one of those times. A display of many train bento boxes at Shin-Osaka station. We had fun picking lunches to enjoy during long bullet train rides. A train leaving Kido Nanzoin-Mae train in Fukuoka on a rainy day, when we visited the giant reclining Buddha. The overcast skies and fog made for great pictures. It was a peaceful, chilly afternoon. Going to less crowded places surrounded by nature with Bob makes for some of my favourite memories.
