#NatGeo
apparently this is first time cameras have been inside since the 1998 team was there. wow, what a get for NOVA! (i assume their airing the doc means NatGeo won't, but maybe I'm wrong)

So glad to see NatGeo lean into solar power stories, including this one I wrote on microgrids & another I'm currently working on. BTW, we looked into getting rooftop solar on our Florida home but the private insurance companies either said they wouldn't cover us or would charge a huge premium!
Going Off the Grid to Deal With Climate Disasters
Natural disasters are striking more often and with greater intensity. To keep their lights on, these communities are turning to independent supplies of renewable energy.

✨Job hunt!✨ My current workplace is circling the drain, looking for new opportunities in media production.

I'm an experienced nonfiction director/producer/shooter/editor, my work has appeared on PBS/NBC/NatGeo/Sundance, remote preferred but I'm in Chicago if you are too! Hit me up!

🌍 October 1st marks the death anniversary of Dr. Jane Goodall – a pioneer who proved care + curiosity can change the world. Her legacy: protect wildlife, uplift communities, and remind us that every action matters. 💚 @natgeo buff.ly/Iz00NuM

I mentioned to a friend the other day how I LOVED the old hand-drawn style nature paintings with numbered legends, and recalled a NatGeo poster from the 80s of a coral reef that I had.

So I found it on eBay. What's the point of being an adult with adult $ if you can't make stupid impulse purchases?

And please keep doing that because, beside your superior knowledge, you are also able to keep your hands still while talking. 🙏
Unlike some others on NatGeo programs.

There's a NatGeo video here that does a really nice job of capturing the life cycle and incredible capacity of these insect undertakers.🐛💀
