Moment of Reflection

I love how the shadows are creating the effect of bars on the wall.
The Atrium at the Nationsl Hallery of Canada. Arches line three sides of this interior courtyard. It is made of red Canadian Shield granite. Plants grow in the garden area. Shadows created by light streaming through the glass roof create the effect of bars on the back wall.

The late Norval Morriseau, a famous Canadian Indigenous artist painted this painting. The Thunderbird is a towering presence.I particularly love the artists use of colour, like pink with turquoise.

NorCal Morrissey, a famous Canadian Indigenous artist, painted The Thunderbird. It hangs proudly among other masterpieces from the four corners of the Earth. The background is divided in half, horizontally. The top half is pink, the bottom, turquoise. His signature style depicts the central character, a multicoloured Thunderbird. A shaman is in the extreme foreground.
