Always & during #NativeAmericanHeritageMonth #NativeHistoryMonth we recognize & acknowledge that Jasper Ridge sits on the lands of the Muwekma Ohlone Tribe of the San Francisco Bay Area @MuwekmaTribe. We value our relationship & continue to work with them https://www.facebook.com/muwekma/

I implore everyone to sit down and research/read about decoloniality. Reimagine systems, governments, and worlds outside of the knowledge hierarchies and ways of being Eurocentric society has taught us. Don’t just reflect but act, create, and change.

A lot of research relies on dreaming and reimagining. Using storytelling as oral history but creating futures beyond the confines of colonization. I wish for the space and time to speculate a decolonized world beyond the allowance of a day or month

To be from people who’s land was stolen and stolen from their own land cultivates a genetic knowledge I can never makes sense of or the sense makers have been erased or silenced by continual colonial mechanisms still in place. #nativeamericanheritageday #nativehistorymonth

This Native American Heritage Day I have been reflecting on the erasure of knowledge through colonization, not as just the mass genocide but the slow insidious nature of epistemic oppression. #nativeamericanheritageday #nativehistorymonth

🌅 The Sixth Sun is an indie adventure that blends Mexica mythology with modern struggles. When an ancient Trickster God and a human drummer face an impending apocalypse, they must discover the power of creation and connection. #Animation #Mythology #aztec #nativehistorymonth #indigenous #mexico
