I was able to remove the split pod before its contents had a chance to blow away. 50 million years plus of symmetrical development, storage and disbursement planning. Amazing.

A little Tennessee Warbler is perched, facing left, on a thin stem of Rouge Plant, with one bright, tiny red berry in their beak. The bird is in profile, in the midst of green leaves, both foreground and background, and flower/fruit stalks with both unripe and ripe little red berries. The bird has an olive green back and head with a light yellow eyebrow, yellow around the neck area, and a thin darker line through the dark eye. The wings have some black in the feathers, especially at the wing tips. The warbler's underside is paler cream colored.
