Season 3 presumably covers it because how does Harcourt not freak about Nazicourt?

I think it likely goes like this:
Chris realizes he has to tell Harcourt about Nazicourt.
so he tells Ads for help. Ads goes wtf Chris.
He then tells Harcourt.

And at some point, one or both of them point out that problem among others. Chris clearly knows he's doing wrong by texting her initially.
