I didn’t even know there was a book 2, much less a book 3! Thank goodness for the public library!
I will review/skim “The Warden” and read the 2 new (to me) installments! #TheWarden #Necrobane #Advocatei

2. I'm gonna guess the tooth golem from Necrobane. Giant animated undead monster just made of teeth, a giant ball of teeth with 3 limbs made of teeth. All buzzing, vibrating, writhing arms of teeth.

...and her "signed loser" ( @e-unknown.bsky.social ;p) is a kelemvorite and a necrobane, hence the gold.
I ... don't think it makes much sense >_>; At least to people who aren't me. But since most of these OCs are AU versions of each other, color coding helps given the CC template is the same ^^;;

Recent Reads: Necrobane. Book 2 in Daniel M Ford's Warden series. Aelis has accidentally unleashed an army of the undead and now needs to end the threat. She has to find the source that powers them, out in the wilds, in the middle of winter. It's going to be a hard quest. This is not a cozy fantasy.

OK, last call for longlist nominations for this queer SFF project I'm doing: here's 2024! Honestly an absolute banger of a year for it.
Here's my initial list, what else in 24 would you give an A- or above in the queer SFF space?
Next up, the very first *non-award* for 2020, sometime early March

Bore da Womble fawr, I'm reading Necrobane by Daniel M Ford. Its the sequel to The Warden, which was one of my surprise hits of last year - very traditional fantasy but the set-up of an ambitious young mage sent out to a distant backwater village to deal with small rural challenges is great.

I'm getting started on Necrobane by @soundingline.bsky.social because last year The Warden was one of the few books that I finished and immediately wanted to read the next in the series. It's already really fun being back in that world.

Feels like I’m missing some here, but alas, it was a pretty solid reading list in 2025 (just finished Wind and Truth today)

I'm finally reading The Warden series, I'm on Necrobane, I love it!
Aelis stresses me out a little, though. Like leave the trapped blood ghost alone and deal with your dead ankle first. What a busybody!
