Fun fact: in the first game the marker actually was not evil; the sequels instead went into a different direction of they act.
More or less the marker acted as sort of a warning of how not to create necromorphs, and the allucinations was its form of communicating to stop the infection

Dead Space 2: lots of mechanical improvements over the first one... i had a funtime. they did teach the necromorphs how to move in complete silence so they can jumpscare you constantly which i think is A Bit cringe and also it made me yelp in fright every few minutes for the entire game

Yeah I'd say so. Again, there's Jumpscares here and there but if you can't handle the necromorphs that's the biggest thing

Feels like yesterday I was gushing over last year's Dead Space piece. Your furry rendition of necromorphs is so good, especially details like the blades protruding from the palm and the wrist of the right one. Shame we probably won't get a continuation of the story, but you evoke the feeling so well

Them no matter how mutated are undeniably human, or at least former human, and honestly that works incredibly well, too often I see body horror just be like "oh here's a dude who turned into a big pile of flesh bone and eyes" and call it a day but the Necromorphs really do a good job of not leaning
