Mata is pretty much a kitty. She of course, has catnip mixed with lavender in oil for aroma therapy and tries to nap in obscure high places to avoid crowds.

On the Frontlines, you would see me chasing and pouncing on my prey. DRK is not a canon class for Mata (her story doesn't involve her tanking), but an outfit she will wear for other jobs or casually. This pose on the other hand, I love it. :3

Mata was born and raised as a predatory huntress.

She is also prey-coded by her Estibaby because she gets into trouble like the silly adorable cat she is.

She does those "butt wiggles", too.

#NegimataHaloxicon & #Wolstinien lore drop
>My stance on how I only focus on shipping Mata with Estinien
-Mata leans towards demi-sexual considering she is only attracted to Estinien after developing a very deep emotional bond with him.
-Before current day, she being alone meant protecting herself.

#Wolstinien Daily Life Doodle: Being Himself

Sometimes Mata's PTSD of past relationships cause her to be in-disbelief that she's married to Estinien. It just takes him to be himself around her to remind she's taken care of and loved. (Please see ALT text for more.)

#Negistinien #Estimata #ffxiv
Mata had a long period of her life that she didn't deserved to be love as she is. Before her adventuring, she was used, cheated, and abused by those she thought were family...and her crush and exes at a young age. She didn't really knew Estinien really liked her til she was told of his actions and personal letters to her in the time of Stormblood and Shadowbringers. She had casted away her emotions for love and instead worked on saving the world as the Warrior of Light, as she had complicated feelings towards Estinien leaving flowers for Ysayle's grave. The feelings had been developed by her overthinking due to force of habit. She loved Ysayle too as a friend as like Haurchefant...however with their deaths- Mata had thought of opening up her heart again, only to keep it enclosed and distant to protect herself and others. Bottled emotions emerged into a wet mess as Mata visited him after the Dragonsong war, which she confessed she couldn't afford to lose him too and as his dear friend/family (after all she kicked his butt with all her might/confidence she had just to bring him back). Her action and words saved and secured Estinien's thoughts of loving/protecting/repaying her back ten-fold, she was too precious to him as he wanted have a family again. Sadly for Mata at the time late HW/StB, she couldn't tell he loved her as her closed heart was partially making her unconsciously unaware of any advancements from him. She accepted internally- she was nothing but just friends. To overcome her sense of belonging, she only turned to only fighting and helping the injured while loving adventuring instead of any thing of pursuing actual personal love. As a couple in present day, Mata makes silly and cute expressions of slight confusion that Estinien doesn't have to put a lot of effort in flirting? as he primarily focuses on Mata's well being.

I've been rethinking for a long, long while to recast Mata's voice claim and I've come to a conclusion.

Mata's voice claim would be Cristina Vee. Through her performances in her roles as Ferry (GBF), Morgiana (Magi), & Sailor Mars (SM), I can hear fiery roars to serene streams.

If Mata's weapon gets taken away, she last resorts to her clan's predatory instincts with her Moon Keeper fangs and claws. Biting and clawing- and screaming non-stop to intimidate/instill fear. She's so stubborn until no one left alive but her.

#wolqotd - In a fight, your WOL has just had their weapon disarmed (a blade, their focus, a staff). What's their next move? Do they know hand-to-hand? Can they use magic without their tome? Or do they simply scramble to get their weapon back?
