An imperial balneum (private bath) has been discovered at the fortified palace of Roman Emperor Maximinus Daza at the Vrelo-Šarkamen site, near the town of Negotin in Serbia.

Update #Serbien: Am Sonntag fanden Kommunalwahlen an drei Orten statt: Negotin, Mionica und Sečanj (wobei es sich in Sečanj um einige Monate vorgezogene Wahlen handelte). Das Vučić-Regimes wollte nach den knappen Ergebnissen der Kommunalwahlen im Juni (in Zaječar und Kosjerić) nun auftrumpfen.

Man kann hier sicher wieder mit der gleichen Strategie des Vučić-Regimes und ähnlichen Bildern wie von der Kommunalwahl Anfang Juni in Zaječar und Kosjerić rechnen. Es sind wohl auch schon um die 200 Personen in Negotin angereist und eröffnen SNS-Büros (um Menschen zu bestechen/einzuschüchtern).

Auch in Negotin haben sich alle Parteien, die sich in der Opposition befinden, (mit ein paar Einzelpersonen) vereint und treten nun mit einer gemeinsamen Liste an, die von den Student*innen aus dem Ort unterstützt wird. (Konnte hier noch nicht erfahren, ob sie auch auf der Liste stehen werden.)

Die Orte sind dafür bekannt, dass die regierende Partei dort Wahlen mit Abstand gewinnt. In Mionica hatten sie bei der letzten Wahl 82,42% und nun 52,6%, in Sečanj 85,4% und nun 65,6%, in Negotin 79,6% und nun 69,3%. Wie sind die Ergebnisse zu verstehen?
