From today's stream! Had a thought bubble of my yokai detectives together so I hopped on and started drawing. My blue ghosties 💙

From left to right we have Galante, Yoichi and Genma!

#oc #ocsky #nurukendetectivebureau
Line up shot of my yokai detective OC, from left to right, Galante, Yoichi and Genma Galante is a Poltergeist who's hovering and has an overall whisp-like design with a chain attached to his leg and long sleeves and overalls. Yoichi is a Nekomatta, a type of cat yokai most notable for their twin tails once that reach a certain age in life. Yoichi dresses in traditional eastern garbs signs of his heritage. Genma is a Gamanoke, a frog yokai who operates the detective bureau. He wears an outfit that has both eastern and western inspiration leading back to detectives with many frog themes in his outfit. They are all floating in some way since they are all ghosts.

Digital art of a cat girl. She has a human body a cat head, ears and tail and is calico colored with dark shoulder length hair. She is wearing a yellow kimono with the sleeves tied back, big puffy black hakama pants on top and wrist and ankle bands. She also wear a dark blue apron marked with the word UDON in Japanese and a red handkerchief on her head. She look very proud of herself.

My OC Pumpkin's reference sheet. She's an afro-latina Nekomatta with poof orange to dark brown gradient hair, bright orangey-gold cat eyes, blobby eyebrows, tortoiseshell patterned ears and tail, freckles, and paws, and orange claws. They wear a pale orange cardigan, a yellow-orange scarf with a dark brown pompom, cream sweater with dark brown ruffles on the collar and a tiny yellow-orange bow, a dark red-orange pleated skirt, dark reddish brown leggings, and cream legwarmers. Next to her is her color palette shown in the shape of pumpkins, and their short bio stating Pumpkin, born on August 21st, 2003, uses she/they pronouns, and is nonbinary with an unknown sexual/romantic orientation.

It's a neat take for a potential "Nekomatta" variant of Tailmon/Gatomon with some Shinto elements added for good measure (mainly the Shinto Bell rope colored tails).
