Did you know that a nemesia is a type of flower? That's not a joke, look it up.

Nem hitting the Flowery battle pose. This was super fun to draw, though I feel like I could do better on a day where I'm more awake.

I've been drawing a lot of experimental stuff that I don't feel confident enough to post recently, taking a break from that to do a simpler icon type drawing today - here's like the 20th icon of my 'sona this year.

One of my friends doesn't like the high contrast shading in icons, specifically in Discord, so I had to make a brighter Nem profile picture for there.

Alright, Easter is over, so instead of going back to the old profile picture I decided to remake it. I know I'm using an entirely different style from the last time I drew this, but it's insane how much I've improved already

There's like 3 times as many layers in this piece than there usually is and it definitely isn't 3 times as detailed. I think it turned out okay.

I think I'm a bit too tired to do proper alt text today but I'll do my best: An illustrated fullbody portrait of the artist's sona, a light brown rabbit with lopped ears. She wears a magenta cropped shirt and very improperly wears a blue jacket, halfway down her body.

Further style tests with a particularly self indulgent subject. Not thrilled with how this came out shape-wise (didn't have any references for this one) but I think I'm getting somewhere with the lighting.

Low energy day today, had a lot of stuff to do, so, unfortunately, All I have is a boring piece to stave off the rust.
I spent like 30 minutes alone trying to figure out posing for a more interesting piece but ended up giving up for today.

Happy Pride everyone!
Vala typically wears glasses in public since it doesn't want people to see its eyes. These were the first pair I ever concepted for it.

#NemesiArt #NemesiaOC #furryoc #furry #furryart
An illustrated halfbody portrait of one of the artist's OCs, Vala. It is wearing pansexual flag coloured, heart shaped sunglasses, and is wearing a black tee with "PRIDEMONTH" written on it, with the letters "DEMON" larger and with a rainbow gradient across them. The portrait sits over a slightly askew rainbow flag, and it has pansexual afterimages trailing off behind it to the right.

Doodled Vala today. Thought it could be neat to mess around a bit with it. I don't even know if this will display nicely but here's hoping!

A stylized illustrated headshot of one of the artist's OCs: Vala. It stares at the viewer with wide open hypnotic eyes and an enormous toothy grin. It holds the edges of the frame with its hoof hands, breaking the fourth wall.

It's me, but Easter'd. Not a huge amount of time left for me to even use this icon but I think given I portray myself as a rabbit I kind of have to do SOMETHING for Easter.

CW for body horror, no blood or anything particularly graphic IMO but different people have different tolerances.

Vala doing its little parlor trick with only half of its head. Looks pretty proud of itself too.

#NemesiArt #NemesiaOC #furryoc #furry #furryart
An illustrated headshot of one of the artist's OCs- Hypvala. In this one, half of its face is "open", meaning, it 3 sections of the assumed 6 that make up its face peeled back and open, to reveal the same texture as her eyes filling the entire cavernous interior of her head. The distant half of its head remains normal, with a big smirk and her eye open, staring at the viewer.

Doing some character design. I want a character I can use as a foil to Vala, so I'm looking for something outwardly angelic. I'm thinking going forward I might add markings to the ears so I can do something like layered feathers...

#NemesiArt #NemesiaOC #furryoc #furry #furryart
An illustrated headshot portrait of an anthropomorphic bird-like creature. It has a white base coat, red hair that's tied on one side and shorter on the other, a black beak, yellow sclera with white irises, and big fluffy ears. Notably, it does not appear to be feathery, the texture emulating fur. It also has a glowing halo between its ears.

A fullbody piece of, me. Mostly just for practicing with my shading. I WOULD use this for a refsheet, but, I'm lazy.

I still don't actually know if I want to keep Nem's stripes with this redesign. Still mulling it over.

More of Lurie, the bird creature. It was originally gonna be a proper full body but I quickly realized too tired today. I've decided that I want her cape 'feathers' to be prehensile, so I gave them a different coloured back side for clarity.

#NemesiArt #NemesiaOC #furryoc #furry #furryart
An upper body portrait of the artist's OC, Lurie. An anthropomorphic bird-like creature with a halo. In this piece she's lying down, propping her head up in her right hand she has her large back 'cape' feathers curled around her lower half, showing that they are a different colour, and texture, on the back - the same keratin as her beak

I didn't do anything! Promise!"

Old OC from a game dev project that I abandoned very early into development. I can't bring myself to leave her behind forever. Maybe I'll do something more with her eventually.

#NemesiArt #NemesiaOC #furryoc #furry #furryart
An illustrated full body portrait of an anthropomorphic rat/mouse holding a very large, shattered glowing red geometric slab (It's an esoteric gun of some kind don't worry about it). She is crouched low to the ground presumably due to its weight. She wears a cropped jacket that also covers her hands, shorts, and boots of the same shiny material, and a similarly cropped undershirt.

Made myself a new banner, and as such, spent all day drawing the OCs. Here's the individual images. Maybe one day I should draw Nem facing a different direction...

#NemesiArt #NemesiaOC #furryoc #furry #furryart
An illustrated headshot portrait of one of the artist's OCs, Vala. It is a weird light pink sheep-like thing with vibrant magenta-red horns and spiral patternings on its goat-like hanging ears. Its eyes are open, and are nested circles of that same magenta-red and bright cyan. It looks slightly camera right, and has a manic expression with a wide open smiling mouth and downward angled eyebrows. An illustrated headshot portrait of the artist's Fursona, a light brown anthropomorphic rabbit with lopped ears. They face camera left, looking cautiously happy.

Just a boring still fullbody of Vala. Don't have a lot of ideas at the moment and I just wanted to get something done.

Trying something new with the shading on Vala's fur. IDK if I like it yet. Easier than the usual method though.

#NemesiArt #NemesiaOC #furryoc #furry #furryart
An illustrated fullbody portrait of one of the artist's OCs, Vala. It is a white and pink feminine anthropomorphic ram-goat thing. It makes a motion as if it were inspecting its left hoof-hand, but its eyes are closed.

Been a bit since I've doodled Lurie. I'm a little low energy atm so I wanted to keep the colouring simple. It was fun drawing the weird bird again though.

Lumina Nyxheart, and Titania. The aforementioned PMD OCs.
I might do slightly lower effort art for their refsheets someday so I can show off Lumina's whole getup and the full extent of Titana's wet cat vibes.

#NemesiArt #NemesiaOC #Pokemon #PokemonArt #Umbreon #Sylveon
An upper body portrait of an Umbreon OC called Lumina Nyxheart- an energetic little thing wearing a white and gold collared dress thing, idk don't think too hard about it, loosely mimicking magical girl outfits. She has a matching bow on her right ear. She has two additional tendrils with the distinctive umbreon yellow rings on them hanging from the sides of her head to mimic hair. On the left side of her collar sits a pin of a crystalline yellow heart. An upper body portrait of a Sylveon OC called Titania, she's rather plain and puts no effort into controlling her ribbons, as they hang straight down to the gound. She is noticeably less enthusiastic than her partner, though the crystalline blue heart pin on her neck bow suggests she enjoys being around Lumina enough to enable her.

More of the bird thing from the other day. Still dunno if I'm gonna stick with this design, for now her name is Lurie.

I find talons and wings (Or in this case, wing arms) very hard to draw. So this gives me something to practice on.

#NemesiArt #NemesiaOC #furryoc #furry #furryart
A full body artwork of an anthropomorphic bird-like creature. There also is a halo over its head, between its ears. It has big wing-arms with large hands comprised of presumably feathers, and has digitigrade legs, the lower half of which being black keratinous talons. instead of a tail she has a large biological cape of plumage originating from her upper back and falling so low that it nearly scrapes the floor.

cw: taur, suggestive

Vala's visible 'body' is actually more akin to a puppet. It uses these because the 'real' body is incomprehensible. Usually it opts for the same shape every time but on occasion it has been known to get a little silly with it.

#NemesiArt #NemesiaOC #furryoc #furry #furryart
An illustrated fullbody portrait of a taur version of Vala- one of the artist's OCs. It is a feminine anthropomorphic ram, goat, or deer looking thing, primarily white furred with brown tips to its limbs, she also has vibrant magenta spiral markings on her thighs, forearms, forelegs and ears. It has cloven hooves for feet and hands. Its horns curve downwards to point forward. Its Horns and hooves are the same vibrant magenta as its markings. It has a short deer-like tail with magenta on the underside. Its eyes are half open, revealing hypnotic nested circles of blue and magenta covering her entire eye.

Doodle of Lurie. IDK what I was attempting to cook with the pose tbh. I'm finding it difficult to get any OC drawings past sketches at the moment, so, this is a improvement.

The full reference sheet for Vala. It has been a very long time since I last did a refsheet, the improvement from the last is monumental. Wrote a little lore too, it's not all there is but it's all that's needed here.

#NemesiArt #NemesiaOC #furryoc #furry #furryart
A fullbody reference sheet of one of the artist's OCs- Hypvala. It is a feminine anthropomorphic ram or goat looking thing, primarily white furred with brown tips to its limbs, she also has vibrant magenta spiral markings on her thighs, forearms, and ears. It has cloven hooves for feet and hands, with additional "thumb"pieces. Its horns curve downwards to point forward. Its Horns and hooves are the same vibrant magenta as its markings, additional notes from the refsheet detail that its name is pronounced "hih-VAH-la" and it is nicknamed "Vala". It uses any pronouns but prefers to refer to itself as it/its. Its species is listed as demon, though clarifies that is only a self proclamation. She has sharp canines and a forked tongue, and her eyes are hypnotic nested circles of magenta and cyan, though her main portraits have her eyes closed. Also pictured is a document seemingly placed over the refsheet detailing more specific notes about Vala, as follows: 'Anomalously temporarily entrances anything that witnesses its eyes. It seems to have an aversion to doing this however, and as such prefers to keep its eyes closed. It can and will exert direct and total control over an entranced individual over any distance with no delay. Subjects that have recovered from this state remember the entire experience, believing their actions were their own, fabricating justifications for their behaviour. Tests find it to be exceedingly resilient. Able to reconstitute itself no matter the severity of physical harm inflicted upon its body. Its "blood" is an anomalous material that has the same properties as its eyes and therefore should not be observed. Its "blood" cannot boil or freeze, and if its body is reduced to nothing but the substance, it will simply reconstitute its body regardless. There is no known way to inflict lasting damage upon it nor to prevent it from reconstituting.' Faded near the bottom of the text is 'property of', an obscured acronym, and 'not for public release'
