Neon Park's 'Genesis 4' poster for Genesis Films Ltd. (1971). The image on the foreground is a reference to Paul Gauguin's painting 'Jacob Wrestling the Angel'. I'll post a few Neon Park pictures over the next week as I'm a big fan. #NeonPark

And now, to the wonderful artist/cartoonist Neon Park. He, of course, drew the cover to Frank Zappa's "Weasels Ripped My Flesh" but he also drew many other excellent pictures. Here's his "Raquel Duck" from 1982. He drew a number of excellent covers for the band Little Feat. #NeonPark

And on the subject of album covers, the cover of "Weasels Ripped My Flesh" (by Frank Zappa) was designed and drawn by the highly talented Neon Park (sadly no longer with us). #NeonPark

More cartoons from illustrator Neon Park from me today. He really was a very talented artist. He was commissioned to draw both of the pictures below (Madonna and Prince) but sadly neither was used commercially. #NeonPark

Artist/cartoonist Neon Park drew a number of album covers for Frank Zappa (Weasels Ripped My Flesh) and Little Feat amongst others in the early 70s. He was a prolific artist and drew a number of pop stars including Madonna and Prince. Here is his "The Bee Lady" from 1983. #NeonPark

Isn't the inside cover to David Bowie's 'Images' brilliant! It was illustrated by artist Neon Park who also designed the cover to Frank Zappa's "Weasels Ripped My Flesh", as well as many Little Feat album covers. #BowieForever #NeonPark

Did you know that Frank Zappa's "Weasels Ripped My Flesh" cover design came from a shaver advertisement in "Man's Life" magazine. The album's title came from the cover page. Artist Neon Park designed the album cover. The guy on the mag front page looks eerily like David Bowie! #FrankZappa #NeonPark

The cover of the album "Weasels Ripped My Flesh" was drawn by cartoonist Neon Park. He was given a copy of a 1956 edition of the magazine Man Life and told to choose something appropriate. He chose to base his sketch on an advertisement for a Schick electric razor. #NeonPark #MothersOfInvention
