I finished the last of the Fates this week, and @lucidnonsense.org photographed them for me...he's brilliant behind the camera :) The busts are from #NErikson through #MyMiniFactory. Each took a few days to paint, and worth every second :) #Nerdlings #MiniPainting
Clotho, the youngest fate, the maiden. She is wearing a hooded green cloak partially covering her head and one side of her face, but her blonde hair and eye are visible. She is wearing a gold mask covering the top of her face, and a green hooded cloak draped over her hair and attached to the green dress. The dress has a plunging neckline, and she wears a heavy jeweled necklace. She sits on a decorative base. Atropos, the crone. She wears a bronze-and-gold headdress with balance bowls hanging on either side. A sheer cloth drapes over her face, hiding her features. Her green dress has a plunging neckline and decorative shoulder drapes. A pointed gold collar is around her neck. She sits on a decorative base. And the three figures together. Clotho the maiden is in front. Behind and slightly to the right is Lachesis the mother. And to the left in the rear is Atropos, the crone (please see individual pictures for descriptions of each figure) All sit on pedestals that are painted black with dry-brushed bronze on Clotho, and gold for Lachesis and Atropos.

More work on "A Moment's Rest" from Nerikson Miniatures. I need to render the NMM on the medallions on her belt, the shield that will be attached on the base, & the pot on the fire. I'd like to make it into a late winter/early spring with snow still on the ground but mud on her boots and clothing.

Printing a new large display scale miniature (easily the largest I will have ever painted). This one is for me, not a gift, like my display scale minis usually are.

The wings are printing now, which will take ~9 hours. Excited to paint such a large and detailed sculpt. Sculptor is Nerikson.

I finished the diorama and the base. I had a little problem with the resin—I had to use a Dremel and cover the edges with wood. But it didn't turn out too bad. Oh, and I added LEDs to make them look like fireflies! #3dPrinter #nerikson #nk2026 #diorama #base #epoxy #leds

I accidentally messed up with the model I was going to enter in the #NK2026 painting competition (I forgot to take a picture pre-priming. The model itself is fine) So hubby printed a different model that I'm eager to paint, and I will be entering it instead. Credit in alt-text. #MiniPainting
