Train just went through Nethertown, which is a hamlet on the Cumbrian coast and not a lost Sisters Of Mercy album from the 80s.

Braystones and Nethertown have to be the highlights of this route, absolutely stunning.
Sellafield surprisingly scenic too given that's very close to a nuclear power plant.

Conwy, Deganwy, Penmaenmawr and Llanfairfechan on the North Wales Coast aren't anymore.
All except Nethertown and Braystones on the Cumbrian Coast aren't.
Shippea Hill, Lakenheath and Spooner Row aren't either.
That's all I've got!

Last Newquay branch station for today is Roche, probably my favourite on the line.
To enter/exit the station, all passengers must use a foot crossing which takes you onto the disused platform.
The only other places I can think of that do this is Nethertown and Chippenham.
Any others?

I walked from Braystones to Nethertown on Monday to try to tick them and Corkickle off, but due to train crew issues, Northern had to taxi me from Nethertown to Whitehaven, so I have to go back to do those two another day.

Looking at RTT+, they’ve not been request since trains were extended from Sellafield to Corkickle on 1 September. And not marked as an x in the new Northern PDFs
