Like, a netlist is just a really large graph, right? So maybe some optimizations that graph databases use would work?

We've been accused here at Goonhammer of using our BattleTech coverage to help players "netlist." That has been completely untrue. Until now.

I mean, given that most PCs are supposed to be unhinged freakbeasts, I think the average mom really just needs to hover around the 4 badge level to command respect from their youths.

Remember, the average trainer is not playing a champions netlist, theyre running 3 of whatever lives in the backyard

holy shit claude can do inference directly on SPICE files and produce meaningful analysis.

haven't tried to direct it to make any changes, but at the bare minimum it really can transform a raw SPICE netlist into a semantic description of the circuit. god damn.

ITC opens formal investigation into Micron memory products over four Netlist patents.

- ITC will determine whether Micron products face a US import ban
- Four Netlist patents are at the center of the probe
- Netlist seeking both exclusion orders and cease and desist orders against Micron

holy crap! well, i guess that confirms that my netlist was correct!

This is basically what turned me off 40k at long last. When anyone got something remotely good or interesting that nerds couldn't netlist and play against exactly the same way as always, it got nerfed inside of a week.
I don't know who made this but I feel it keenly.

i guess you'd call it a netlist

Hot take: Your deck should have at least 1 card that wasn't on the netlist.

The older I've gotten, the more anti-guide and anti-optimization I've gotten. Used to play tabletop games against guys who would netlist their entire builds. Miserable experience. Nothing unique in it, no sense of joy in what they made. Just the quickest route to a solution.

He's made a netlist...

He should have checked it twice...

He went straight to layout, and skipped the SPICE...

🎵 Fresh fabbed boards are commmminnnng to towwwwwnnnn🎵

The Christmas project- I wonder if I can get this to JLC before NYE...

there was enough Amaranth in the training set that it reliably confabulated syntactically and, mostly, semantically correct pieces of Amaranth code, including all of the netlist.

it was mostly Amaranth 0.4; i didn't want to evalute its Amaranth knowledge so i added documentation as context freely

USITC investigates Micron & server makers (HPE, Super Micro, Lenovo) over DRAM memory products. Netlist claims patent infringement via imports. Focus on alleged tariff law violations and patent rights.

gonna propose a standard for distribution qubit validation circuitry recommended for websites on the future quantum-cryptographic internet, where your SPICE netlist is distributed alongside your superpositions-over-regular-text/YAML information, at /.well-known/scary/spice

I think people are way too used to live service games sucking up all of their time instead of the ability to try out things as they go. But people do this. So many people go from warhammer to infinity and complain they can't netlist. They get a particular headspace and refuse to change.
Bad take: "Too many tabletop games are fracturing the hobby."

Good take: "We're blessed with a wealth of choice, and therefore we shouldn't allow a single company to monopolize the community."

Apply this to miniature wargames, TTRPGs, collectible card games, or any other tabletop.

This is incorrect.

I am no fan of AI coding, but I am required to use AI to write the RTL which we then synthesize into a netlist and which in turn gets turned into silicon. This is hardware not software.

Code quality is as good as mine. That may be because I heavily constrain how it operates.

Tinkered a bit in the 'visual cpu remix' tools so that the mouse wheel zoom is centered on the mouse pointer (also fixed a Dear ImGui debug assert that slipped through when updating to some recent Dear ImGui version)

In this paper is presented AnalogMaster, an extensible, LLM-based framework that enables end-to-end automation of analog IC design through a unified pipeline spanning circuit image–to–netlist generation, parameter optimization, placement, and routing.
