One thing I think about a lot is that the NRA started networking in Brazil 30 years ago
I'm going to try to do this cleanly.
Today's right wing governments are networked to each other. Those networks are well-documented. You can read about them in books. Following the elections in one node of that network is good practice for understanding the U.S. node.

I just think Matt's wrong about this. We're at a point in our technological development where a ton of problems spill over national borders--if Flavio Bolsonaro burns down the Amazon, that will flood houses in Miami.

Like a pretty good job search is:
- Check to see if there are any new jobs posted
- Apply to one or two jobs
- Maybe email a friend or former colleague and do some informal networking.
That's maybe 3 hours/day.
- Check to see if there are any new jobs posted
