#NeuroPlasticity
Bilingualism is associated with a bigger brain. Similar to other cognitively demanding skills, it leads to dynamic subcortical structural adaptations which can be nonlinear, in line with expansion-renormalisation models of experience-dependent neuroplasticity. www.nature.com/articles/s41...

That is... the exact opposite of how neuroplasticity works.

You ran out of neuroplasticity in 2010.

This is a website for people who ran out of neuroplasticity under Obama.
I keep realizing that the reason I'm not seeing certain terrible genres of post/terrible branches of discourse is just cause everyone on this site is old

Kitten Kam!
And the $5 word of the day is Neuroplasticity!
Neuroplasticity is the brain's ability to reorganize itself. Batty has cranial nerve damage. Batty is starting to show signs of improvement. Smol signs. Big progress.
Here’s the highlights.

Is this neuroplasticity?

This is your periodic reminder to have sufficient enrichment activities in your enclosure to maintain your neuroplasticity.

Some thoughts on fisting and neuroplasticity.

Ahh so that's what neuroplasticity is.

Neuroplasticity why are you leaving me

sorry kit, we HAVE to regress you as part of the transformation… you need the neuroplasticity to learn how your new body works

What if in 2026 I gave up mindlessly scrolling and instead drew badly in one of my 47 abandoned sketchbooks 😤 neuroplasticity don't fail me now

Driving while reading is great for neuroplasticity, however, it can be detrimental to other parts of your health like your bones.

Two years ago, I fell and suffered traumatic brain injury. While I was in the hospital, I made an album of music.

This is the sequel.

Neuroplasticity is a fascinating topic. The brain doesn't replace damaged connections, it makes new ones.

I hope you enjoy it.

By naturally elevating levels of neurotransmitter Serotonin, hormones Dopamine & Oxytocin, and Endorphin peptides, a sense of well being can be attained to potentially overcome & displace feelings of stress & anxiety. www.cnet.com/health/menta... #Brain #NeuroPlasticity #NeuroGenesis

there used to be a conventional wisdom in neuroscience that neuroplasticity (the ability of the brain to adapt and learn) effectively bottoms out during ages 18-25

the last couple decades have effectively disproven this idea. neuroplasticity slows significantly, but certainly doesn't stop there
I wish the popular idea of the frontal lobe being "fully developed" at 25 would die. The study responsible for this belief ended at 25 girl the implication is that the frontal lobe is possibly always growing and changing!!!
