should be question one on the neuropsych eval

Having worked in education and raised an (adopted) ADHD son with a learning disability I have mixed feelings on this regarding my own ADHD.

On the autism side, I'm frustrated that the doctor who did my neuropsych 15 years ago misread my autism as persistent depressive disorder.

Two more weeks until NeuroPsych results
Do I do a reveal cake?
But instead of coloring the inside of it I just eat it if I get a diagnosis.

They have Baxendale on their side. She's a neuropsych; I'm sure she could come up with several plausible-sounding ("plausible" to those who might not care to look more closely, anyway) reasons.

For example, for younger people, say it's autism. For older people, say it's frontotemporal dementia.

Using neuropsych. assessments, T1 imaging, & high angular resolution diffusion imaging data from 108 participants with #Parkinsons, researchers found that degeneration of the cortical cholinergic system is associated with cognitive decline

As neuropsychologists, we recognize the need to understand individual experiences of those living with epilepsy and advocate for access to appropriate care and resources!

Mentally ill people are deserve respect and autonomy. Also, requiring a neuropsych eval for presidency would be trampling on the civil rights of not just MI people but that of other oppressed folks because oppression causes mental illness (and other disabilities).
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

I really love my GP. I trust her. 1st time event at Kaiser.

She's run all sorts of tests: neg, wnl. She's raised concern about early onset dementia & I'll be getting a full neuropsych eval in Dec. Read up; don't think I have it but never fun to consider.

Fuck that and fuck them. He deserves all the support so he can excel. Why should “ok” be the bar (it isn’t).

A private, very sophisticated neuropsych from a well-regarded person that the school is intimidated by (cowed is the goal) can be extremely effective

Echoing others: Get an advocate. Arm yourself with an independent neuropsych eval if you possibly can. Be very clear about what specifics need to be in the IEP. But most importantly keep supporting your kid in every way you can so they don’t self label as the problem. It’s a lot but you can do it!

Pity about the Measles ....

Big Pharma have a vaccine for that. They've also pioneered the GLP1RA's, which have huge application in just about everything.

Metabolic Neuropsych DEFINITELY is a field in evolution... But he delivers nothing but ☠️
I can’t say I disagree with rfk jr……he does actually get some things right once in a while.

Metabolic neurology is an exciting new field of medicine which is sadly unsupported in the current system due to big pharma companies powerful lobbyists.

I had my neuropsych follow up.

One of the things I was actually kind of happy to hear and that makes a lot of sense is that one of the major things that set me apart and probably made the diagnosis difficult - my language skills are off the charts.

Not sure. My takes is JD can manipulate the message 4 optimal advantage, like a survival skill. I've done many IQ, Neuropsych evals. JD Nobody is not bright, lacking in independent vision. His benefactors/saviors, like Peter Thiel, tell him which reality to support. So an easily manipulated puppet.

「✢」Brain very much isn't getting better. I'll have my first neuropsych rehab assessment next month. That said, my understanding of what that rehab does is more on the "figuring out how to make new symptoms more manageable/ways to adapt" than anything.

And neurology appointment is,,, in like May.

That’s super awesome.✨ i have a smaller series called “Tracking a Movement Disorder” that showed within a larger series. A neuropsych happened upon it and we had an interesting conversation. I met a lot of neat folks at shows, some connections lasted and some were momentary. But all of them matter🫀

I did six hours of neuropsych testing. Everything was normal, except I'd lost 16 IQ points. 🫠

He's a Schumer Democrat, so hating immigrants and Muslims is already baked in there.

Don't doubt he also has some choice words about people with intellectual and neuropsych disabilities.

Has anyone asked him whether he thinks autism is overdiagnosed or a modern health epidemic?

I paid $99 for a training on doing neuropsych writing and this fucking asshole is just pitching how to use AI.

Some people should be given small shocks and stubbed toes for the rest of their lives.

I don't know. The neuro won't do anything unless I go for another full day of neuropsych testing and I am way too ill to do that. Even if I've gotten worse, she'll only Rx brain training. I notice that I increasingly have the same exact issues my mom/dad had before they got their Alzheimer's Dxs.
