I can’t stress enough how good neutrik connectors are if you do audio stuff, particularly XLR. Didn’t even realize they made this one. bsky.app/profile/isom...

got myself a nice new shield, 5m mogami cable with neutrik plugs.
3m is usually more than enough but this is for a bigger room so i went with a bit more, just to be safe.

Luckily those Neutrik XLRs are easy to solder. It feels like someone has used some hours trying to make them easy to use. Which is nice.

tbh i would say look at some of the US brands on Amazon like TrueCable and just get their branded parallel pliers as well since they're like $30. The problem I encountered is that with Neutrik connectors, the parallel pliers were $350+. I've heard good things about the VCELink toolless ones also
