I stumbled across my first Red Deer in the New Forest this weekend, and it turned out to be this magnificent stag. After looking around he lay down and rested for about 30 mins before getting back up and melting away into the woodland #NewForest

The bottom row is just over 1.4kg of #porchini #ceps #pennybun worth about £140! Some of which went in a risotto along with other #foraged mushrooms. It’s a good year in the #newforest for fungi.
