Afternoon scene on an extremely hot and dangerous summer day on a street in a sweltering City, facing across the street at a group of young children enjoying their summer break from school, cooling down with an opened fire hydrant that is billowing water everywhere; this is one of the great joys of childhood, growing up in the City - for an afternoon, your neighborhood becomes a water park; an automobile parked too close to the hydrant and now it is getting a free washing in the background, along with a great many lush, green trees, a sign reading "speed limit twenty-five" is recommending a for cars to go a little too fast right in front of a public playground; the kids are having the times of their lives amd will treasure their memories of today.
