Really appreciate Christopher Newfield for continuing to sound the drum on this. Not news for anyone who actually works in the humanities but critically important for folks in CS/ML/AI to know as they increasingly draw from the humanities for their ideas
Well, this was surprisingly a respectful debate even though I thoroughly disagree with Rudy Rochman and his unwillingness to acknowledge Israel's illegal occupation and settlements, but at least there was no demonization of Palestinians and Muslims.
