Following today's Newspoll and DemosAU polls my 2PP aggregate is at a new term low of 51.4 to ALP.

I also have ALP at 51.4 vs One Nation, but that's not a term low.

"The biggest discrepancy was One Nation. 💥Newspoll put Hanson’s party on 20% of the primary vote, while the Greens’ polling had One Nation at 14% – a six-point difference that would represent a significant setback for the party if reflected across the state.💥"

Murdoch newspoll not liking treasurer cos he upset them with property tax changes. Did they ask anyone in his electorate, probably not.

This doesn;t seem like an argument that Albo has been more consequential than Rudd. AFAICT, Albo's eye occasionally rolls over Newspoll, then back to TikTok

newspoll hasnt used landlines for years (pretty much no major polls do); they were very accurate in the south australian state election and have a great recent track record

I still think that the bold, decisive action taken by the left-wing militants of the ETU & BIG to ensure workers' rights to shoot native brbs is maintained will surely get Labor across the line in key marginals.

The Australian has published that preference flows were based on recent state and federal elections, however the previous Vic Newspoll was respondent. As there will be a disclosure statement I will know which it was soon enough.

#Newspoll Vic (state) ALP 24 L-NP 33 ON 20 Grn 14 others 9
2PP 55-45 to L-NP (I assume respondent prefs, I would expect around this or slightly less)
Netsats Carroll -28 Wilson +10
Better Premier Wilson leads 48-34
This would easily be a Coalition majority.

Also #Newspoll Daniel Andrews retrospective netsat -24 (36-60). This is much worse than anything he polled in office. (Contra to widespread myth Andrews had pretty strong ratings while Premier, but voters who disliked him tended to do so strongly.)

The same level of error on that Vic Newspoll would not change the winner, it might put them into minority territory though.
