It would be bizarre if they had.

"Well, the Newshounds graphic novel pages are worthless, but original Newshounds strips from the nineties??? Ka-CHING!!!"

"[T]o attentive newshounds, the book’s broader canvas will be familiar — ..a steady accretion of revealing anecdotes and insider details that transport the reader from surprise to a peculiar sense of wonderment at the scale of the ineptitude."

Currently listening to this—excellent, highly recommended. And Mr. Duran does a great job as narrator. The Nerd Reich ties a number of threads in the news together while being easily accessible for non-techies & newshounds alike. 🐸

But to get back to the point, one of the critiques I've received about "Projection Edge" is that there's not enough setup to the concept. This is because I had "followed on" from "Newshounds" when I originally began PE, and as a result the setup was embedded in the whirlwind of the NH graphic novel.

Thanks to @gil.hova.net for the inadvertent idea.

Background: Last night I discovered that I never moved over any of my high-res files for the "Newshounds" graphic novel (apart from a few pages) to the new computer. Nor did I ever transfer anything from "Something Happens."

It looks super legit and professional, as in if I opened a comics section of a newspaper and saw Newshounds or Projection Edge they would not feel at all out of place stylistically. (Content-wise I'd be surprised/delighted to see a full and rich story in that section)

Jesse Watters called me in 2008 when he was a producer for Bill O’Reilly and they were whipping up a manufactureversy about Boulder High School. I was on a ship in the Pacific & didn’t get his message in time. They invited instead a 16 y/o student, Jesse Lange, who promptly kicked O’Reilly’s ass.😂
