Trying out NextSpace on Slackware -current with XLibre.
A modern implementation inspired by the classic NeXTSTEP desktop. It's interesting to see how its design and workflow still feel relevant decades later.
Definitely a fun project to explore.

Trying out NextSpace on Slackware -current with XLibre.
A modern implementation inspired by the classic NeXTSTEP desktop. It's interesting to see how its design and workflow still feel relevant decades later.
Definitely a fun project to explore.

Oh...BTW, The NeXTCUBE Project is alive and thriving. I have installed the PREVIOUS NeXT Emulator.

Oh...BTW, The NeXTCUBE Project is alive and thriving. I have installed the PREVIOUS NeXT Emulator.
This is Debian 13 with XFCE customized and the so-called NeXT emulator, but I have also NEXTSPACE as alternative Window Manager for a more faithful experience.

I had WindowMaker installed, but NEXTSPACE is conflicting with it, so I had to uninstall. But was my default WM along with XFCE. I pretty much like it :3
