Some meetings start with a story others end with one. This is supposed to be ‘motivational’ for the staff, and good public relations too. What I learned over my career as an NHS psychiatrist, with my own lived experience of mental illness – recurrent depression – is that there are some things that staff and dignitaries attending such meetings do not want to hear about.

It's very simple either you go with reallocating resources to a NCS or you go with Reform which redirects resources to billionaires, golden visas. How can a super billionaire party of tax exiles ever relate to the NHS or NCS. They would and have said they will privatise the NHS losing the UK trns.

As Labour have just made tens of thousands of backroom NHS staff redundant (myself included) many of whom's job was to keep an eye on outsourced services, I remain extremely sceptical.

Not sure about the ‘grip on immigration’. What has the current ‘grip on immigration’ achieved? £7bn loss to the economy, Universities, Social care, the NHS etc struggling through lack of students/staff.

If trump brings in a diesel export ban, I'm fine with rationing. Prioritise nhs, goods, logistics and just tell people not to drive. Don't cut fuel tax, have rationing. We already have rationing by price and if prefer physical rationing. It's fairer.
