And then there's the politics. Both eras have in-universe uncomfortable politics — in the single-player era the aging Septim Empire is in decay, whereas in the ESO era the Septim Empire won't be founded for another three centuries and everyone's in a huge fuckoff War of the Nibenese Succession

I actually think you could do something really cool by making the western colovian regions more 'standard' while having the niben be all jungley as originally described. While you're at it, maybe make it so the nibenese cities arent all so tilted towards the suckish side of things comparatively...

i do love Oblivion but one of the (many) things that upset me the most about it is that there is no real difference betweenthe nibenese and the colovians. like that was one of the main things about Cyrodiil!! like major topic!! where are the battlemage aristocrats!!

Cecilia is an Imperial. Her bloodline is nearly equally distributed amongst Colovian and Nibenese individuals, leaning towards Colovian.
Caramel is a Majin. Particularly, a Majin of Buu's subspecies, *not* any of the majin races/constructs introduced in Daima.

I trangress against the fandom consensus by having my Nerevar being Imperialized Dunmer knight who is torn between cultural expectations of their real homeland (Cyrodiil) and the cultural expectations of the adopted one (Vvanderfell).
Some of us are libs, some of us are Marxists, some are anarchists, some are binary, some are non-binary, some are separatists, some are assimilationists. But there's one thing I like to think all of us in the LGBT community can agree upon: Azura went too far reincarnating Nerevar as an Argonian.
