City Manager Mr. Deitch told the Niceville council the proposed FY2027 general fund budget is balanced and 11.2% smaller than the current year, proposed at $50,421,813; he recommended holding the millage at 4.5 mills and warned that a November ballot measure could sharply cut property-tax revenue and threaten services.
