#octoberhorrormoviechallenge Day 31✔️: #halloween This is the movie that started the slasher genre & it was a big breakthrough for both director John Carpenter & the female lead Jamie Lee Curtis. Michael Myers became an horror icon with his mask, which was originally a Captain Kirk from Star Trek mask that they painted fully white, made the eyes dark & black, & even combed his hair ("hair", the irony 😜). They did that because they couldn't afford a better looking & more scarier mask. The theme music by Carpenter is so iconic & so memorable, the first time I saw this movie as a kid the music was so eerie & scary that I couldn't sleep because the music was still playing in my head! But I still loved the theme music though, don't get me wrong! It got a couple of sequels, the 3rd movie was meant to start a new series of different stories taking place on Halloween, like an anthology. But that only confused people & they demanded Michael Myers back. Then came the 1st requel, H2O - Halloween: 20 Years Later, which got a sequel, Halloween Resurrection. Then came Rob Zombie's unnecessary remake, which also got a sequel. Then came the 2nd requel, Halloween 2018, which got two sequels - Halloween Kills & Halloween Ends. #johncarpentershalloween #jamieleecurtis #lauriestrode #donaldpleasence #drloomis #johncarpenter #michaelmyers #nickcastle #maskedkiller #theshape #pjsoles #totally #censorednipples #censored #fuckcensoring #pov #nancykyes #stabbed #theboogeyman #thenighthecamehome

The Shape (NickCastle) in his ghostly Captain Kirk mask looking over the bannister while holding a large butcher knife. Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) hides behind the couch with a butcher knife of her own. Doctor Loomis (Donald Pleasance) stands in the darkened bedroom of the Wallace house, realizing that Michael Myers is still alive. The final shot of the darkened Myers house at night.

Watched a walkthrough of #halloweenthegame 🎃 It's pretty much in the same style as Friday the 13th & Texas Chainsaw Massacre the game, but this one actually has a proper storymode. The plot follows the 1st John Carpenter movie, but it's from Michael Myers's view & we get to see events that we didn't get to see in the movie. The voice actors for Dr. Loomis & Laurie Strode were pretty good. On Loomis you can hear the difference, but on Laurie she almost sounded like Jamie Lee Curtis. The character design on Loomis looks exactly like Donald Pleasence, while on Laurie she looks like a different character & the only time she almost resembles Curtis is at the near ending of the movie. Even though Michael Myers is a mute, he still does his creepy breathing & grunt noises, and the one who does that in the game is the original Michael Myers/The Shape himself, Nick Castle. Twice I noticed the same glitch, people falling through the wall 😂😜 #halloween #michaelmyers #drloomis #lauriestrode #maskedkiller #theshape #nickcastle #slashergame #fireplacepoker #stabbed #headstab #deathbyweightlifting #bloodsplatter #bloodandgore #bedsheet #maskpov #lyndavanderklok #totally #censorednipples #censored #fuckcensoring
