March of Robots 2026 - Day 10

#Metalcardbot #Nightgriffon #Knightgryphon #FletaZ #eyestrain #Harakantassut
Digital piece of two character from Metal Cardbot fighting. On the top left corner is a headshot of Nightgriffon with his head slightly tilted to the side, having Fleta Z's card weapon as a sword pushed against his throat. He looks angry. On the bottom right corner is a headshot of Fleta Z who has his head leaning back a bit because he is being strangled by Nightgriffon with one hand. His other eye is closed while other is squinting and staring at the other. In the middle is the two as small silhouettes only, flying in the air and fighting against one another. The lines are very messy and sketchy, with slightly more refinement on the characters' faces. The colors are very bright from purples and reds to green and yellow. Eye strain mentioned for filtering.

March of Robots 2026 - Day 31

#Metalcardbot #Nightgriffon #Harakantassut tw: #Bleeding
A digital piece of Metal Cardbot character Nightgriffon. The style is both sketchy and painterly, with construction lines visible here an there. The background is black silhouettes of leafless trees with muted dark blue sky, and red ground amongst the black lines. The colors are dark and muted with light source being focused on the characters head, shoulders, and arms. The character is injured and bleeding, holding onto his lance which is stabbed into the ground for more stable support. His weapon card is deployed and he rests on his four legs while wings are more wrapped around the torso in a protective manner. The head is leaning forward and down and the view to his face is blocked by the arm.

Two panels of comic. First panel is from above with a black silhouette of a character Night Griffon. He hovers high in the air, and the beach, with water and sand far below are seen. Second panel is a close up portrait of the character. The angle is from below. He holds his fist up in the air and looks down and says "I'll show you all how it's done." Third and fourth panels. Third panel: Night Griffon is just a ball of fire with black wings visible. He shouts "Cannon ball!!!" The background is blue with speed stripes. Fourth panel has orange text "BOOM!" with a white speed effect down and an explosion with brown dust clouds. Fifth and last panel. A scenery from Porcaca where several characters are spending vacation on a beach. Blue Cop is standing on the left and looks down into the sand pit that Night Griffon made with the attempt. Wild Guardy stands next to Blue Cop, looks also down into the hole and says: "You missed the water." Night Griffon is in a hole in the sand, buried deep with just wing tips visible and a hand raised up, index finger pointing up as well. He says "Not true! I simply demonstrated the sand variant." Gigantrex is walking towards the sand pit holding two barrels in his hands. On the background, there's humans Crest and Peruru under an umbrella, and Crest's butler robot Sebastian is motioning with a fan towards him. On the right is Jun standing in a big sand castle that Buster Gallon has helped him to build and whom sits on his knees next to it. Furthest in the background, on a ledge, stands Blaion simply looking at the scene opening in front of him. Next to him, leaning into the railing is Soleil, who shares the view.

I have been informed the head does turn and after some real effort was able to get my BloodWing's head to move.
This moves him to 2nd place due to the fact he has 360 degree wrist rotation while NightGriffon can only move his fists slightly up/down.

BloodWing comes in last due to the fact he's got no neck articulation, instead having a "spring head out of chest cavity" gimmick for the ambulance -> bot TF so not very poseable. The bat drone is pretty cool but his bot -> ambulance TF is basically just "fold him into a rectangle and you're done".

I know it's called a lance, but I think it deserves a more metal name, like
