• While you can collect Adventurer Points for a previous week, you won't be able to collect them a week ahead. Yoshida say if they did this, people would fall into habits similar to the existing tomestone system.

Sounds kinda like warframe's nightwave (which is good)
There are "many, many" different options to earn Activity Points. If you miss playing one week you can earn points from the previous week as well as the current week. Basically, it all doesn't -need- to be done each week.
