Nimba has decided that this is HIS cubby.

Never mind that he is approximately 47% too big for it. Nimba insists that if he can fit some of himself inside, then clearly he belongs there.

Comfort? Questionable.
Logic? Nonexistent.
Determination? 10/10.

We admire the commitment, Nimba.

Nothing to see here. Keep moving.
Just two best buds definitely not up to any mischief. Nimba (ginger goofball) and Doug Judy (sleek shadow) are partners in playtime and mayhem. 🧡✨️🖤

Our friend the Western Nimba Toad is ovoviviparous, meaning their embryos develop inside eggs that stay within the mother's body until they hatch, then they are born as tiny baby toads! They live in the Mount Nimba region of Guinea, Côte d'Ivoire, and Liberia! (photo by Thomas Doherty-Bone)

Nimba saw a volunteer turn on the faucet and he saw it as an opportunity. Why waste time with a water bowl when you can go straight to the source? 💦

Whether he's conducting surprise inspections, checking for unauthorized snack activity, or simply making sure everything is on schedule, Nimba takes his job very seriously. Just don't expect him to move out of the doorway anytime soon. He is the doorway.
