In the Nintendo Switch version of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, each of the many repeated bones in Cortez's body uses a separate texture. There are a total of 312 individual bone textures, many of which are completely indistinguishable from each other.

In the Nintendo Switch version of Mario vs. Donkey Kong, Mario's eyes are modeled separately from his head. In his default pose (T-pose), the eyes are misaligned with the head, bulging out severely. This is how the designers would have constantly seen Mario during development.

For Mario/Mar10 day this year, I crossed over Mario with one of my favorite villains of all time, Doctor Doom! Combining the models was an interesting process that I feel paid off.

Here's a concept for a #SmashBros inspired trophy for #Mario !

Rather than just the base of the trophy, I included various elements of Mario's world- a green warp pipe, a power star, a super mushroom, and a pillar from Peach's Castle's exterior. I think it came out cool!
